WINTER PARKING BANS
WINTER PARKING BANS IN HULL WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM:
12/1/08 THROUGH 3/31/09
No on-street parking whatsoever will be allowed on the following streets between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 7:00a.m.
Nantasket Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Spring Street, Main Street
All other streets:
Parking will be allowed on the even numbered side of each street, except when said parking is prohibited, in which case, parking will be restricted to the odd numbered side of the street, I.E. when snow is predicted or a snowstorm prevails, motor vehicle owners residing on the side streets, particularly those who reside on the side streets which are narrow – or on hills – should park their vehicles off the street wherever possible, and , if unable to do so are directed to park them in compliance with this regulation both before and after the plows have passed. This will provide for orderly snow removal/sanding/salting operations as well as free flow of traffic, especially emergency vehicles.
Failure to comply with the codes of the Town of Hull Chapter 155 Section 19, to the extent that snow removal and related operations are impeded will result in parking violation fines and/or towing of the offending vehicles at the owner’s expense (after due prior notice to owners when it is practicable to do so.)
The full cooperation of all residents is urgently requested in complying with the foregoing winter parking bans as well as all other Town of Hull traffic rules and orders and applicable town by-laws.
