Man arrested after stabbing incident in Hull

The Hull Police arrested a Darren Martin of Randolph Ma., and charged him with assault with attempt to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and related charges immediately following a stabbing at the Kenberma playground basketball court located at the 400 block of Nantasket Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25.

Martin, 18, was apprehended in Weymouth after he allegedly stabbed a male following an altercation involving several males at the basketball court.

The victim, an adult male, was transported to South Shore Hospital with non life threatening injuries, in addition three other males were transported to South Shore Hospital with non life threatening injuries and a male juvenile was arrested following the incident for weapons violations.

Hull Police worked with Hingham and Weymouth police in apprehending the suspect, Martin and continues its investigation into this incident.
